In addition to
ballet and Marvatots,
Madeleine and Walker attend
CBS (Community Bible Study).
It is an intensive study of the Bible for adults which also has an
excellent children's program. There are CBS classes all over the world.
This is Mary's sixth year, Madeleine's fourth, and Walker's third. Gram
has been coming for too many years to count. It is such a blessing to have
3 generations of family all together for such an important and
life-changing experience. Madeleine's nursery school teacher, Mrs. Barnett
is also studying with us! Mary is serving in the children's program this
year teaching the three year olds. Their class involves music, crafts,
bible stories, and memory verses. The children perform their songs at
Christmas in front of all 300 class members! Mary is loving her new job
which is 2 days a week. The children give her so much more than she
feels she gives them. She is truly honored to have been chosen to teach
these precious children and is also working with some amazing women at the
same time. Madeleine and Walker also have play-dates several times a week. It really wears them out, as you can see Maddie passed out on her floor!
Mary is also selling hand-smocked children's clothing with her friend, Amelia Poch. They do trunk shows several times a year in both of our houses. NO....they do NOT make them too!
