Mary's Weekend Trip to Atlanta

In July Mary and
the kids flew down to Atlanta to visit our dear friends, the Calls. Gram
was a Godsend helping Mary with Madeleine and Walker on the plane. Gram
went to visit her old friends, Alice Faye & Wes who live very close to
Steven and Shelley.   Our children had a ball with each other and Madeleine had her first real sleepover weekend. Although, there really wasn't any sleeping involved. Shelley & Steven gave Mary a party and invited all of her old friends she hadn't seen since our wedding. It was an awesome trip and it just made Mary realize how much she loves and misses her old pals. Shelley and Mary dreamed about the day their children would play together, sitting in the hall of Dorm K at Auburn University, 1985. War Eagle, Yall, dreams DO come true! As the party cleared out, all the hens gathered in the kitchen to gab and to polish off the wine and bruschetta. They stayed up talking, laughing, and reminiscing. If those walls could talk! |
